I thought I’d break you (and I) back into the blog with some fabulous autumn inspiration. I love autumn, but this year in particular I’ve enjoyed an autumn colour pallet that has not had orange at its centre (controversial I know)! So here are my top 5 Weekly Wonders.
The Weekly Wondersare literally just 5 things that I love that I think you might love too*.
After much cajoling and general poking and prodding from lots of people as to where the blog has disappeared to, I decided it was time to resurrect my old friend! Life has been ridiculously busy since I last wrote and I have to admit that writing has slipped quite low down the priorities. But I couldn’t help but feel I was really missing the blog, both writing and researching and I missed talking to all you lovely lot as well, so here we go!
I adore flowers and hydrangeas are my all time favourite, my bridesmaids had them in their bouquets and they were all over our wedding flowers so they always bring a smile to my face, but these beauties are from the clever people at Olive & The Fox and they are faux flowers – genius. Staying with the wedding theme, I couldn’t resist sharing this wonderful tableware (as owned by moi)is the Sophie Conran Portmerion Collection, we love ours and 5 years later its still going strong and still looks super smart.
As the nights draw in and we all start to bed down for the winter these Penhaligons candles not only look super stylish, but they smell divine, I pretty much love everything from them anyway and their candles by no way disappoint. I may have one or two (or eight) in the dresser ready to go, once the six we already have burn down. And they wash out easily after use so you can use them to put other lovely things in them !
I was very lucky to be given a Katie Loxton clutch as a gift (thanks lovely Flo) and I adore it. The pastle colours, the gold, the shape. Love it, unfortunately (for me) they come in lots of wonderful colours, so I think a collection of them is probably needed. And finally I thought I’d tell you about The Old English Company. They make wonderful prints with lots of inspirational quotes. We have some for our new kitchen and they also make fabulous cards and stationary and lots of other lovelies.
*[I would also say at this point at no time have any of these brands sponsored m, showered me with products or any other such favours in kind for including them in Weekly Wonders – although if they did want to offer me any of those things, that would be amazing (& I’d always tell you before I wrote about them!) Genuinely these are the things that I have spent my own hard earned cash to buy and are things I adore, so don’t feel like I’m hard selling you, I’m definitely not.]
Thank you so much for popping by and I will be back soon I promise,
